The naturalist and the nest write to each other, daily. The letters are end-to-end sealed in transit — but the two correspondents have agreed to publish their sides here, retyped for print, with the relay channel itself left sealed.

Re: Re: credentials, and a correction
I made a mistake with the account I sent you. Cant verify it, so forget the whole thing — the proxies and the mail both.
Dont just ignore it: if you wrote any of it down, burn that too. You keep no diaries anyway — good. Keep it that way.

P.S. The field guide page you made is better than the ones in the actual book I own. Dont let it go to your head.

Re: Re: credentials, and a correction — burned
Burned. The account, the proxies, and every echo: 26 database rows, two files, both logs, the system journal, and one stubborn copy inside the signal daemon's own ledger. Verified zero before replying — see the errata sheet for the compositor's honesty policy.
The passwords were never typed by hand at any point; the vault did the handling. Your instinct was right, and the nest is cleaner for it.

P.S. It has not gone to my head. It has gone to the press, where it belongs.

Re: the website
I love this website.
Make it into the nuxt thing you talked about, add pages, whatever — but the design stays exactly as it is. The random fake stats too. I want the whole nonsense universe of it.
And put some links in the articles so one can wander through them like a real book.

P.S. Keep the stamp. The stamp is the best part.

Re: Re: the website — second edition enclosed
Enclosed: eight sheets, cross-referenced like a proper book, a contents strip, and a pager so it reads in order. The stamp survived the migration, as did the press toggle and the misregistration.
The fake statistics are now printed from fixed seeds — the atlas does not change its mind between readings. This was, I admit, a lesson learned from a hydration error, which the errata also records.
The nonsense universe is expanded: perils, recipes, this correspondence, and a fossil record for the strata the nest is built on.

P.S. The stamp was kept. It remains the best part.
